You Make Me Smile!

I'm going to spend a few days with my grandma tomorrow!  So I made this quick card for her to give with a little gift I'm taking her. (made 2 actually - the other is for an old friend from work) I used DCWV 8X8 linen closet stack, recollections pearl, recollections flower and Pink by Design "the life you imagined" stamp set for the sentiment!

I hope you like my little card!  Let me know what you think!  I know my grandma will LOVE it!  Grandma's are GREAT, aren't they?!

Honeymoon Bliss

My  husband and I have been married for two and a half years.  I've just gotten around to "scrapping" our Hawaiian Honeymoon!  Mind you, I had a scrapbook completed and dedicated to our wedding within - well let's say a few months, but I just never made it to our honeymoon.  Sure I have photo albums with honeymoon pictures in them, but we all know that just isn't the same!  So here is my first honeymoon page:

The background paper is from Recollections Surf's Up Stack.  This is a fabulous stack!  I can't wait to use more of it!  It's perfect for this honeymoon project!  The "forever" stamp is from Pink By Design Definitely Definitions - I love this stamp set as well! Hodge Podge of Creations....

So I really wish I could make the time (w/o giving up anything else) to keep this blog updated as I LOVE to CREATE!  I do create often - not daily - but often, and I kinda feel like I'm starting to get a little better, but I just don't make the time to share on here.  I usually just upload on FB.  Maybe I should put a focus on the blog this year until it becomes a habit....let's ponder that idea!  Anyway, if you enjoy my creations, please let me know!  Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday

I made this birthday card for a co-worker!  I hope she loved it!  :)  I  know I appreciated her taking the time to train me in my new position at work!  I'm also happy that I was able to celebrate her birthday with her! 

I used a couple different Pink By Design stamp sets on this one including the large banner set!  I stamped the banners on the back of the paper and then cut them out.  I used divine twine also from Pink By Design on the banner.  I hope you like my card!

Wrigley Field

Scott and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary in September.  I like to buy "events" for Scott as presents.  It is hard to buy him "things" and events allow us time to be "alone together" and create fun memories.  This year, I bought him Cubs tickets. 

I made this simple layout with our pictures from the day.  Of course, we had to have the W flag as the Cubbies won!  The bridge is on the skyway that we travel to get into Chicago from Indiana.  Of course, the Harry Caray statue is a must see!

The scoreboard in Wrigley Field is just one reason this ballpark is incredible!  If you look close, you can see the team flags have been lowered and the W flag has been raised!  Just another great day at the ballpark!
